Shearling Herdwick wool with a carnival of Merino wool colours. Made from the first shearing of a Herdwick sheep, raised in the beautiful Wiltshire uplands, it gives a unique and interesting texture to the felt. The sides and edges are rounded, following the natural tendency of the wool. This piece can also be used as a table cover or wall hanging.
Wool is naturally dirt repellent, fire retardant and hypoallergenic as well as humidity and temperature regulating. Soft surfaces also improve room acoustics by muffling sound waves.
The 3mm thick felt measures 186cm x 72cm.
